Using Easie

Does Easie use bots?

No. Easie does not use bots and each task is handled by a real human.

How do I talk to Easie?

Send us a text message or email 24/7/365. We are always there.

How do I get started?

Visit our pricing page to get started. After you sign up, we will send you an email and a text with further instructions to get started.

Then send us a text or email with your first request. We will invite you to have an onboarding call when you sign up.

What can I ask Easie to do?

Ask us anything, really. If it is possible and legal, we can work on it. Be creative.

How do I exchange confidential information (passwords, proprietary documents, account details, etc.) with Easie?

We will send you a secure, encrypted communication page that only you and Easie have access to. Confidential information you share with us is protected by six levels of encryption using Cellucrypt technology.

There are some cases where we will connect you with a third-party professional to receive this information rather than us handling it directly (banking, accounting, etc.).

How much time does a request usually take?

This depends on the type of task. The more we work with you, the faster we get at finishing your work because we learn about your preferences and workflows.

We complete tasks for you in the most efficient ways available. This sometimes means using third-party products and services. There may be some requests that are impossible or impractical. If this happens, we will do everything in our power to help you find a solution.

Is the information I provide to Easie secure?

Yes. We use administrative, technical and physical security controls to help protect your information. Our financial data is PCI compliant and your data is secured with 256-bit encryption. See our privacy policy for more details. Easie agents sign non-disclosure agreements and do data security training. We can also handle your confidential data.

What if Easie can’t complete my task?

When items are out of stock, services are unavailable or human error from us, we may not be able to complete your task.

If this happens, we help you find the best next steps and if you want us to stop work for the task, tell us at any time.

How do I know how much time has been spent on a request?

You can ask an Easie agent at any time during or after a request. We can also notify you at a given duration about the progress of a task (e.g. "update me every 45 minutes").

How do I return an item I bought via Easie?

We try to get a refund for you from the vendor. Refund policies from third-party vendors vary. Successful refunds will go to the credit card used for the transaction.

Does Easie handle requests outside of the United States?

Yes. We handle international requests by email only. We speak fluent English. Some international requests may take more time or not be possible in countries where English is not the local language.

How does Easie track time spent on a task?

Easie agents do not manually log time. We use software to track the time spent on your task and we use this software 100% of the time.

We do not charge for work not related to your task like thinking, taking breaks or working on other users' tasks.

How does Easie remember my preferences?

Each request is automatically tracked with our software so nothing is ever forgotten. We also use this software to remember your preferences, handle recurring tasks and follow up with you.

Can I specify a time limit on a task?

Yes. Tell us the time limit you would like us to spend for a task, as long as it is estimated to take one hour or longer.

Can Easie agents use our company software?

Yes. However, you will need to train us to use the software and depending on the complexity of the software, this may be considered a technical task.


Payment

What is the cost of using Easie?

See our pricing page for each plan. After the monthly subscription fee, we charge per minute for any work done for you. We can also buy goods and services for you (e.g. Amazon, GrubHub, etc.) at no markup or service fee.

There is a Stripe credit card processing fee (2.9% + $0.30) when we charge your account. We charge your account once a week for work done and send you a usage report.

We do not charge for work not related to your task like thinking, asking you questions before starting your task, taking breaks or working on other users' tasks.

How do I pay for goods and services that Easie buys for me?

Easie pays for the cost of goods and services on our credit card, and we then charge your credit card on file after.

If you would like to buy a good or service directly from a vendor, tell us and we will have the vendor contact you directly for payment.

Is your payment process secure?

Yes. Our payment process is PCI compliant and uses payment processor Stripe. Easie agents never see your full credit card information.

Does Easie add a service fee or markup when buying goods and services for me?

No. Think of us as an assistant to your buying process. There is no markup on the purchase of goods and services you make via Easie. You are charged the exact cost of the items plus the Stripe credit card processing fee (2.9% + $0.30) against the original cost. These fees exist so Easie can purchase things at any time for you. Note that these fees do not include the time Easie spends working your request (web research, phone calls, etc.).

When am I charged for using Easie?

You are charged per minute for time spent working on your task after approval. You are not charged for sending us your request, answering our questions about your request or approving your request. You are also not charged with asking us questions about our capabilities and features.

Can Easie provide a receipt?

Yes. Tell us what you require a receipt for and we will send it to you.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept most credit cards.

Am I charged if I cancel a request after Easie starts working on it?

Yes. You will only be charged for the time Easie spent working on your request. We will stop immediately if you ask us to.


Support

Can I talk to an agent on the phone?

No. You can schedule a call with us to discuss plans, features or more custom questions.

Why am I being charged for a request after the task was finished?

Some tasks require follow up such as replying to emails from vendors, checking in for events and tracking shipments to ensure completion and quality. If you ever want us to stop working on a task, just tell us.

I am not happy with how long my request took, what can I do?

Contact our support group (support@soeasie.com) and we will be happy to review the issue for you.

How do I change my payment method?

Update your payment method by visiting your account page and updating your payment preferences.

Who are Easie agents?

Easie is powered by a team of trained and qualified generalists that are passionate about their work and enjoy finding creative solutions to whatever you throw at them. Each agent undergoes an intensive training program to ensure that work quality is the same no matter which agent you speak with. Each agent also signs a non-disclosure agreement upon hire. Easie agents are not freelancers or decentralized individuals.
